Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Feel lighter, clearer and more energised — from the very first session.

What is Manual Lymphatic Drainage?
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a specialist massage technique that uses very light, rhythmic movements to encourage the natural flow of lymph fluid through your body. Your lymphatic system is responsible for removing waste, toxins and excess fluid — but unlike your blood, it has no pump. MLD gives it the gentle push it needs.
Unlike a conventional massage, MLD involves almost no pressure. The movements are precise, meditative and deeply calming. Most clients describe it as one of the most relaxing experiences they've had — and the benefits often continue for days afterwards as the body continues to process and drain.
It's a treatment that looks gentle but works on a profoundly deep level — supporting your immune system, reducing inflammation and helping your whole body reset.

MLD — Full Body
A complete lymphatic reset from head to toe.
A comprehensive treatment covering all major lymph node sites and drainage pathways. This is the treatment to choose if you're looking for whole-body detoxification, general immune support, or a full-body reduction in fluid retention. You'll leave feeling noticeably lighter.
Good for: general detox, water retention throughout the body, immune support, seasonal wellness maintenance

MLD — Targeted Area
Focused treatment for where you need it most.
A focused session for a specific area of concern. Ideal if you're recovering from surgery, managing lymphoedema, or dealing with localised swelling in your legs, arms or face. This shorter session allows Francesca to concentrate her attention exactly where it's needed.
Good for: post-surgical recovery, lymphoedema management, facial puffiness, swelling in a specific area
What to expect
Before your treatment
Francesca will discuss your health history, any surgical procedures, and what you hope to achieve. This is especially important for MLD to ensure the treatment is safe and targeted correctly.
During your treatment
The movements are extremely light — much lighter than a traditional massage. You may feel a gentle warming sensation or a subtle shift in pressure. Many clients fall asleep. The room is warm, quiet, and you'll be draped in towels throughout.
After your treatment
You may need to use the bathroom more frequently — that's a sign the treatment is working. Drink plenty of water over the next 24–48 hours. Some clients notice reduced puffiness immediately; for others the full effects build over the following days.
