Holistic Therapies

Ancient healing traditions — Ayurvedic principles, essential oils and heated stone therapy — combined with modern therapeutic technique to restore balance to your whole self.

What makes these treatments "holistic"?

Holistic means treating the whole person — not just the area that hurts or the symptom that brought you in. These treatments draw on centuries-old healing traditions from India and beyond, using essential oils, heated stones and focused energy work to address your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing simultaneously.

It's about more than relaxation (though you'll certainly get that). An aromatherapy blend tailored to your mood can help lift anxiety; the deep warmth of hot stones can unlock tension that regular massage can't reach; and Indian head massage can ease the mental fog that accumulates after weeks of screen-heavy work.

Francesca has trained extensively in these modalities and uses only premium-grade essential oils and materials. Each treatment begins with a conversation, so the session is perfectly tailored to where you are that day.

Aromatherapy Massage

A massage that works on your mind as much as your muscles.

A full-body massage using a personalised blend of pure essential oils chosen to suit your mood and wellbeing goals. The oils are absorbed through the skin and inhaled during the treatment, creating a multi-sensory experience that works on both a physical and emotional level. Whether you need calming, lifting, or grounding, the blend is mixed fresh for you.

Good for: stress and anxiety, low mood, hormonal imbalance, general sense of being overwhelmed

Hot stone therapy

Hot Stone Massage

Warmth that reaches right through to the core.

Smooth, heated basalt stones are used alongside Francesca's hands to deliver warmth deep into the muscles. The heat encourages the muscle tissue to release tension far more effectively than conventional massage alone — and the experience is profoundly relaxing. The stones are carefully temperature controlled and placed along the body's energy lines.

Good for: deep-set muscle tension that won't shift, poor circulation, the colder months, anyone who craves warmth and deep relaxation

Indian Head Massage

Clears the head. Softens the shoulders. Resets the mind.

A seated treatment that focuses on the head, neck, shoulders and upper back — often the areas where we hold the most tension. This massage is rooted in Ayurvedic tradition and uses a combination of rhythmic kneading, pressure-point work and gentle stretching to release tightness and improve circulation. It's particularly effective for headaches, eye strain and the mental fatigue that builds up over a working week.

Good for: headaches and migraines, neck and shoulder tension, eye strain from screen use, mental fatigue and brain fog

The ultimate head-to-face reset — in a single session.

This combination treatment brings together the tension-releasing power of Indian Head Massage with a targeted mini-facial, creating a seamless treatment that addresses your scalp, neck, face and skin in one sitting. It's one of our most popular treatments for a reason — you leave feeling as though everything above your shoulders has been completely renewed.

What to expect

1

A conversation first

Francesca will ask about your mood, energy levels, any areas of tension and what you'd like from the session. For aromatherapy, she'll invite you to smell different oil blends until you find the one that resonates.

2

During your treatment

The room is warm, the lights are low. For aromatherapy and hot stone massage, you'll lie on the treatment table. For Indian head massage, you'll sit comfortably in a chair, fully clothed. Francesca adjusts pressure throughout — just tell her what feels right.

3

Afterwards

Take your time. Drink water. You may feel deeply relaxed or slightly light-headed — that's completely normal. For aromatherapy, the oils continue to work for several hours after the session, so try to avoid showering immediately.
